  • Make sure your feet are comfortable. It is very likely that blisters will start to appear during the ceremony – so you should do everything in your means to prevent this from happening. And if lining your shoes with Band-Aids is what it takes to avoid pain during your best friend’s big moment, then you should definitely do it.
  • Re-touch your makeup and lipstick. No matter how persistent your lipstick may be, re-touching it before walking down the aisle will be necessary because it will make you look refreshed and it will boost your self-confidence.
  • Help the bride relax. Her nerves are probably stretched at their maximum, so having someone there to simply be a friend, to offer her a sip of water and a tissue will be golden for her.
  • Put your phone on silent mode. Really, it’s pretty impolite when a guest leaves his/her phone on and it rings during the ceremony – but when a member of the bridal party does this, it is extremely rude and inconsiderate. Double-check and make sure your phone is muted before you make the first step on the aisle.
