Not so often are we afforded the privilege of hosting such a creative, out of the box wedding theme.
Who would have thought that Shel Silverstein, a childrens book author, would be gracing weddings with his powerful words from the book, Where the Sidewalk Ends, “If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer . . .If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire, For we have some flax golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!”
That’s exactly what inspired this couple who we recently hosted at the Black Horse Inn. Anthomanic, provided florals with lightbulbs woven throughout.
Notice too, the groom’s boutonniere…it holds a small light bulb. Lightbulbs hung in trees, graced the head table florals and were used throughout as a brilliant (no pun intended), out of the box wedding theme…obviously inspired by Silverstien’s book, A Light in the Attic.
This was truly a memorable wedding and nothing like it has graced the Black Horse Inn before.
Thank you to all of the amazing wedding vendors who worked so effortlessly on this wedding. It was beautifully creative!
